Ner's Random Musings on a life of interesting insights

a world of interesting factoids about nothing and everything

A call to arms @ 09:19 am

I should start by imploring you all to take up arms against daylight savings time. Not only is it pointless except for it gives us a false sense of security as to having an extra hour of daylight as the days get longer and hotter, but that dreadful day in spring when we must lose an hour of sleep, that negates all the purities and positives of the hell. I lived in Arizona, the sunniest state in the nation, and had no problem with leavng my clock at the same time throughout the year. I didn't gain or lose anything from it, and I sure didn't lose an hour of sleep as I did this morning. I say screw summer time, damn daylight savings, lose that lousy hour of sleep; no.

See what happens when I get pissed off?

I agree whole-heartedly. Down w/ Daylight Savings Time!! I vote for Night Light Savings Time, way better. Extend the perceived amount of night and see how my spirits rise.
Actually, how bout neither? How about we just stick to one friggin' time? The switches always sneak up on me (where does the time go?) and are way to irritating to be worthwhile. I want my hour back NOW, not in October.

Bah. My sleeping schedule is so screwed up that I won't even notice the change.

When you have sleeping schedules like mine and Chris's, it's no longer called a schedule. It's more like an event of procrastination... "I'll go to bed when I have the time".

I say we all move to Arizona, or not.
