Ner's Random Musings on a life of interesting insights

a world of interesting factoids about nothing and everything

(no subject) @ 03:40 pm

Let's see how long the stupid network stays up so I can post an entry. Lately, the thing has been coming up and down a whole lot lately, which is annoying when you are trying to submit an assignment electronically, or do an internet radio show, anyway, enough of that.

Brunch went quite well yesterday though since I didn't know many of the people and have as of now just started reading some new people (welcome to my new friends by the way), I just kind of took it all in, and realized how crazy us lj people are. The most interesting phenomena I realized was that we all didn't know who the hell we were talking about by first name or last name, nothing simple like that. I still don't know everyone's actual names to this day. We know, and always probably will know, each other by our lj names first and formost. God bless the internet and live journal eh?

I did my lab final this morning, and got that out of the way. So that means I'm finally finished with that stupid class. I don't know how well I actually did on the test, but I think I did ok.

Finally also finished our Design project, which also is a relief. So today has been a great day of great finishes.

On a final note. I almost felt like Dorothy in Kansas today with all the wind. I swear one of the gusts today must have been over 40 miles per hour. I was glad I was holding on to Fiona for I'm sure I would have lifted off the ground. Today and tomorrow I plan to continue packing for tomorrow's trip home. I will welcome the time that I'll have to relax, to read, and to generally have fun, something I haven't been able to do for a while. It'll be great!

AMEN!

Whoohoo. yay for fun that has not been had! I don't feel like I've had much fun in the last four or so weeks. Yeah, I've gotten to get away, but there were still things hanging over my head that I just needed to get done!
And now. THEY WILL BE DONE! That's the one thing I like about college--Once the semester ends, no homework for several weeks. Well, enjoy your time off. I know I will!

True dat. The stupid thing about it iis that I technically am not done with everything, so I still have stuff hanging over my head but I'm not going to have to worry about the other things and I'll be able to finish everything over the break without having to worry too much which will be a total plus. It'll be great, plus I'll be able to catch up on reading which I will be really happy about.

Aren't you glad Fiona's been putting on the pounds? Just think of what would have happened if she was anorexic like Raymond! :)

I think she's bollemic, however you spell it. Who knows at least she looks healthy. You can see Raymond's ribs, good call there.

Glad you're getting done with all your stuff. Us high schoolers are never done... Fun stuff. I bet the wind will probably make its way to Minnesota soon.

High schoolers are done more than you might think. When you graduate you are truly done until you get to college at which time it starts all over again.

noel...at thanksgiving, in jonesboro, i told you i would read your lj the week after, and write a comment....well...i guess you know it didn't happen!....i got busy with unimportant things and just didn't get on line much....well i am now glad to know that you are finishing up and will be going home soon to little to rest and relax and have fun.....i guess kelsea will pick philip up later this week...seems that they are getting along just "peachy"! i had to give 2 parties this past week and went to 2 more holiday type get-togethers...now i can sit back, myself, and relax and enjoy christmas music and decorations and get in the "christmas spirit"....i, too, am so thankful that saddam was finally captured....that certainly brings a feeling of peace this holiday season....hope that i get to see you and your family during the holidays...i plan to come to little rock and visit while you and kelsea are home....i am planning to come to fayetteville around feb. 10 and 11 to take kelsea to see "miss saigon" that is supposed to be playing at the walton art center....one night while i'm there, i would like to take you out to eat...you are also welcome to go with us to see "miss saigon" if you want to and if your schedule allows....you will have to let me know so that i can get you a ticket....mikey continues to terrorize the household...especially sara lee....i have gotten attached to him anyway and will have a hard time giving him back to philip when the time comes....sara lee is counting the days until he is "out-of-here"! well...sorry that i did not write to you sooner....hope things are going well and hope that i get to see you soon...had a great time with your family at thanksgiving.....have a good week and a safe trip home....love, miss marsha
