I spent most of yesterday in the land of books, scanning, correcting, and reading. I finished scanning Pompei: a NovelBy Robert Harris. I plan to read it today. Its a story of an water engineer near the time of the Vesuvius explosion who finds out the volcano will explode before it actuall does and how the society receives this news. Its all a very interesting idea, and a captivating book.
I also finished scanning a book that I've been trying to scan for weeks, and definitely need to send back to the University of Arkansas. Because I'm considered distance ed now, I can get any book from any library and they send it to me which is really cool, but I still have to send the books back, I suppose.
I also did a lot of emailing of people, letting them know what happened. It turns out the person who helps me with process control didn't even know that I'd fallen, and now my analytical chemistry professor now knows. Luckily, both of them are happy to help me. TOday, I get to tell the director of the movie that I'll be slightly delayed in filming. Of course if they want to spend the money to fly my ass up there with Fiona to film, I'll do it. Who the hell knows. They seem to be still a bit confused from what I can tel, the script is not completed, and they're waiting on some hva (high value actors) to fit this movie into their schedule, As long as I get paid, and can get up there, I don't really care what happens, I guess it was meant to be that it got delayed because if we would have filmed in spring like they wanted, I and the movie would be screwed.
That's all the boring news from here. I'm sorry I didn't write yesterday, well I technically did even though it was three past midnight but still ... I've been lax in updating, and spell checking (I haven't spell checked in a while so sorry for any misspellings that have crept in in past entries). More soon.
