We've made it here ... qwell we actually got here on Tuesday morning, totally on schedule. I'm still tired though we're only two hours behind Arkansas time. Traveling here by air always is almost if not more tiring than traveling to Australia. I spent the whole trip in the front seat and though I didn't need to, I felt that it was necessary to stay awake so I could keep the other drivers awake. Philip and my mom did the majority of the driving, and after leaving at 2 pm, we got to Strawberry at a bit after 8 a.m., twenty hours later.

The weather here is very cool and dry, cool enough to wear a sweatshirt. The four of us and my dad are here, along with Loraine my great aunt. MOre people are coming tonight so they can all be here for the services tomorrow. Its always very sad when someone dies, but its always as good to see the family that come to be at the funeral. My brother is even making the long trip from Alaska to be here.

I"m not sure exactly what else to say. I'm doing well, and I'm glad to say that my Grandma is actually doing better than I expected her to do. The obituary was published both in the local Phoenix paper and the Payson (the nearest town to here) one and that was nice. We're rranging all of his medals and pictures etc. so that they can be displayed. I think that I will find that the memorial service will be much less sad and much more full of memories as that's I am sure what Grandpa would want.
