Current Music: the humming of the refrigerator and the meowing of the cat symphony number 7.3

still no word from my match from Florence. Eitehr she'll close it soon, or after a couple of weeks I'll at least put it on hold. They say that the expense is definitely worth it, but I'm not so sure.

I called the university about my undergraduate application. They said they'd throw it away. I made sure they knew that there were definitely problems wth the application process. I thought that maybe the person on the other end of the phone would find it funny or at least feel sorry that I filled out the darn thing for undergraduate, but she was just a bit nondescript. She sounded a bit sleepy, perhaps she hadn't had her coffee yet.

Forgot to mention yesterday that the genetics appointment I'm staying her to go to has been "rescheduled" to sometime later in August. So I'll still have to make the round trip from Fayetteville then. There's no other way to do it though. As a consellation prize, they said that they'd put me on a waiting list in case they cancelled another appointment or something. I guess this geneticist is really good and hard to get into or something. I'm not sure all this waiting is worth it :(.

Not much going on here this morning. We're just waiting for the supposedly flooding raisn that are coming from the northwest that will supposedly come later on in the day. The last time the NWS said this would happen, we just got a light shower. This thunderstorm complex seems pretty impressive though, so I say it'll probably pour for a while at least. Its sure been a cool and wet summer here in central Arkansas. Well, I'm getting kind of hungry. Methinks I need to make a bagel as a precursor to lunch. Precursors to lunch rock, especially when I get to use the word precursor in a perfectly legitimate sentencce, that rocks too.

hey hey! you talk about cold over there! nothing compared to wintery old Australia right now - especially Melbourne! Lol you did ask for randomness!
I heard your Main Menu review the other day on Skype and thought .. it very amusing! Not that you were still in the process of figuring out the program yaself at the time Lol!
Anyway I've seen ya on a few mutral LJ friends pages so thought I'd add ya! You sound cool!
Good luck with your upcoming appointment. I have a few of those myself next week.
Cheers! :)

I think the best reviews are those in which you are figuring out the program as you go. Goes to show that there's a human value to software.

Melbourne can be cold this time of a year can't it. I once was there in June during a cold hail and rainstorm. Yuck.

I'll add you bacck definitely, thanks for becoming a part of my raging friends list.

thanks! I haven't been recieving comments which is a good part of the reason why I had cut a few of you (whom I knew weren't the other trouble-maker) off my list. I guess since we hadn't been receiving each others comments, I wasn't sure whether you were really interested.
And yeah you're right about the reviews - makes it all the more funnier when we can all hear randomness like that. :)
Oh yes, well I am just so glad that this is the last month of winter (for us).
Cheers for now! :)
Enjoy the randomness that is me and my LJ - sometimes happy, sometimes sad - but that's life! Lol
