This guy needs some 'sensitivity training'! Does U. Arkansas have a person or department that deals with so-called disadvantaged students -- sort of an ombudsman between the student and the rest of the school, including professors.

I hope you can demonstrate to him the complexity of getting your results into a format the professor can accept. Somehow you're going to need to get hold of a fellow student who understands math terminology and can reliably take your dictation.

If all else fails, we'll call in someone from the New Jersey Soprano family to 'reason' with this person.

Its not that he's "insensitive". He understands that he has got to do something just doesn't know how o do it. Yesterday we went to the disabilities office for the university and that's how we "resolved" the situation at least for a bit that is. Hopefully I'll know something by the end of the week, if I live through this week that is. Thanks so much for your support.

Souns like you have at least laid the ground work for reasonable treatment as a student in this person's class.

Keep on plugging!

All I can do is keep plugging on in that class, physical chemistry was a problem today, will write about it here in a minute.
