doctor's appointment excitement @ 10:36 am

My goal is to put in the subject for the entries in these pages something that is totally non war related. So far I've been close to successful. I might start a personal war if this guy keeps signing in and signing out and signing in etc. of msn, but otherwsie the war goes on and I'll give a news update about that later just for future posterity or something. Ok, I deleted the dude, he won't bother me anymore and when he gets his problems sorted I'll readd him and unblock him.

I woke up at 3:30 this morning and because I couldn't sleep, I turned on CNN and watched it for a bit. Then, sleep overtook me and I fell back asleep about the usual time I get up. I woke up again at a record breaking time of 8:10, haven't slept in like that for AGES.

I didn't do much last night. I read a lot of emails, wrote some, read some livejournals including that Iraqi guy's one which Chris sent me. I also looked on live journal for journals from people actually in Iraq. I think there are a few, but most of them are in Arabic. There is one user iraq and it's kind of funny because they play like their Saddam himself. There are several like that but this was the funniest.

U.S. forces took Uncasar (I believe that is how you spell it) today. It's the largest comercial port city in Iraq and an easy capture according to the press. There was also a helicopter crash in which 8 British forces and 4 U.S. servicemen wer killed. The crash was due to mechanical trouble supposedly.

There have been some b52 bomber launches today with unknown destinations. I didn't realize it was so far to get to iraq from England, but it does take a while. They pretty much launch their bombs when they get there and then turn around and head back. B2 stealth bombers can even travel from here and come back. Now that, would be a long trip.

We have to go to get our taxes done today, then head to the doctor (bone doctor today), where he'll hopefully give me the all clear to put more weight on my leg. Then I'll come home and continue getting ready for my show. I have a feeling I won't get totally finished by then so will have to import things one file at a time as my show is going on. Who knows, we'll see.

Well, not much more of interest is going on. Amber arrives tomorrow and that should be cool. More later.

Two comments: 1) I hope your doctor's appointment went well. 2) Why have you still not given me the skinny on Miss Amber?
