I enjoyed how you described the chicken breast smell as "dead". I certainly hope they weren't selling you live chicken breasts... but this does bring up a bit of a point that I've been dealing with lately. I don't buy my meat from Wal-Mart anymore unless it is frozen or I just can't help it. Wal-Mart meat, especially beef, is way skankier than say, the actual grocery store. But as for the chicken, it was probably too close to expiration or possibly had a slight tear in the package that exposed it to funkiness. Anyway, I do not even know what compelled me to write a long comment on meat, but hey...

I'm thinking that I probably shouldn't get meat from Wal Mart either. Perhaps I should try a grocery store, I wonder if you can get frozen chicken breasts at Wal Mart. I don't know, all I know is that I hope I never have the same problem again with Wal Mart meat, otherwise, I will make extra trips to other stores to get my meat. I had a good experience with the ground beef though, I don't know. When my Mom comes up here I think we'll have to scout it all out. Sorry for rambling, but you reminded me of my bad experience with the Mart Meat Market.
