Fiona and me in the snow

(no subject)

Wow, For some reason I can't input a subject, how convenient, will have to look into that later.

One hour till we leave for the airport and I'm excited. This is not a day for flying, it's a day for staying indoors, but we can't change plans now. The skys are angry with rain which should make for bumpy sailing across the heavens. I'll write when I get there about how it was but I must update the past couple of days.

On a whim, I applied to test this cool racing game for blind people. About a hundred people applied to join the team, and I had no hope of joining, I was just bored that day. Funnily enough though, I was one of like eight that made it in; there were like two ro three positions available and free. How cool is that? Well, I get a free copy of the game, well not free, I "have" to play it a lot to test bugs, but damn that'll suck.

Have continued to get my dad set up with xm. He's on the north side of the building, and unfortunately, the sat signals only are guaranteed to work on the southern skies. Therefore, it didn't work at all, so he's got to use an extension cable and run an entenna to another window that's esily accessible to the signal. If he were on the other side of the building it would be find, but it's not to be. Pretty disappointing because we gave it to him for fatehr's day and he can't use it where he wanted to, and that's at work.

So have been helping people with my xm scripts, and doing other boring things to get ready for this cool trip. And at that I should leave it till I get further north. Enjoy the reading.
