Fiona and me in the snow

oven baked ner

Its ONLY 103 here. Better than the 111 forecasted, but still hotter than I'm used too. Its a dry heat though, and I'm not kidding. Walking outside is kind of like walking into a moderately warm blast furnace minus the wind. A convection oven would better describe it.

I've arrived in Phoenix and its definitely cool in Carol's house, its definitely evident that she's got the air conditioning on in here. Its kick ass let me tell you :).

We've had lots of excitement over here considering tickets to Stomp, but that I will save for another entry and also for a time in which I have lots of time and energy to write. We've got all the tickets organized though, and show time is at 8:00 pm. We're having steaks fefore as I think I've said previous, and then we'll all caravan over there to the theater that has a sky that looks like clouds and sky, whatever that means. That's according to Ally btw.

After that I get to go over to Grandma's as I've always done and that should be cool and get me back into the Aussie spirit.
We haven't been doing much today but doing a bit of shopping for fruit and salad stuff for today's dinner. I've also been exploring the newly remodelled house (my Aunt Carol just did a major ovehaul of the whole place). Fiona's birthday is going ok except for the fact that she and one of the cats don't get on well together. Merlin the cat is a bit agressive and swiped her nose a bit with his paw so she cried. Merlin's been like guard cat with Fiona and I'm sure she'll get the hang o him and he'll get the hang of Fiona soon enough.

We went to breakfast with my grandma and grandpa and though the place was crowded it was well ... kick ass :). I had a ham and cheese omlette and lots of hash browns. I also had some biscuits and gravy which were yet again kick ass. I'm setting a record here. Well, Suppose I should end ahead. I will write tomorrow when I have more news. I'm indoctrinating Carol with a live journal so she can start writing so that's cool, extremely cool. I've always called her the "cool aunt", at least sometimes she's cool, most of the times. More later
