Fiona and me in the snow

happy thanksgiving

Its raining, and very old now, and it doesn't match the warm fullness I feel right now. All of my reservations I had went out the window with the first mouthful of turkey. Funny how good food and good company losen you up.

We made the two hour trip to Jonesborro, in the northeast of the state, at about 10:00 a.m. and we ended up eing the last people to make it there. Philip's family were all there, and it wasn't until some wine and a bit of football, that we had the food. We had among other things, several asorted caseroles, some turkey, and some ham, rolls, and scones. I can't even remember it all but I know it was good. I got so full that I didn't even have any dessert. Maybe after I get this entry down, I'll have some now that we're home. I think that maybe I'll just have to have dessert for breakfast and relax and sleep off the meal. More later, I wanted to say though that Thanksgiving wen very well, and I am very thankful that I was invited to go. Yawn, must go take a nap.
