Fiona and me in the snow

Dead Day or snow day

There's a newly fallen three quarters of an inch of snow fallen outside. I think it would be totally ok if it snowed more, but now, its just causing things to turn into ice rink city outside the dorms. Everyone seemed to be sliding around out there as I walked over to Brough. I had some ice shoes on, or things that strap over your tennis shoes, so I had major traction on the ice. The wind is very strong today too, so the 24 degree temperatures feel like teh single digits. NOt only is it cold but people including me, have ample opertunity to get blown around on the ice. I had an idea that it might be fun to stand on the hill above Dixon Street, hold my arms up and literally sail down. Its the ultimate in wind power energy savings.
Its forecasted that we'll get another shot of winter's madness this weekend with more snow forecast than we already have now. Luckily it will all be melted by tomorrow.

Its very very quiet on campus today as its dead day, a day where there are no final exams are scheduled. I hope to do studying during this time or finishing assignments taht I have. Who knows, all I know is that I have to do some computer methods so I can say that I actually did some studying for my final tomorrow at 9:30.

Nothing exciting is going on so I'll end it here and grab some coffee that's brewing now. I kicked Fiona off the bed earlier because I didn't want to get more sand in my bed than aready is there from her. More soon.
