Fiona and me in the snow

(no subject)

I'm very much enjoying listening to Leah's new album. calya and piratefanatic, you must get it. Its awesome. I've also gotten my desktop hooked up to my sound board so besides the fact that I wish I had some decent headphones to listen to this neat thing, I'm livin it up tonight.

Anyway, moving on. I said before that the A.P. teachers had made it here and they were either dead or really boring. Boring I can attest to, but dead, not even close to it. They all invaded ysterday, and I swear I was about to go and get Fiona to bite some of them last night. I know I know, I shouldn't go to bed so early but damn, do they ever find the time to shut up? They've been all at meetings today so I've been launched back into the crypt that is Gregson, but really though, I've enjoyed having them there. At least now we have desk workers to talk to :).

Today I spent the day mostly doing really boring adminisstrative stuff (emailing teachers, grabbign departmental free copies of hundreds of dollars worth software (go me), and generally having fun. I never would think I'd ever say that I had fun doing admin stuff, but its a precursor to work, and work is good, so I guess this is good.

Finally, I'll end on the science of Brough, a primer. There really is a science to Brough, our illustrious cafeteria, in the summer. If you pick your times right, like halfway through dinnertimes, you usually, or at least I have the past two days, gotten a free dinner. Breakfasts are similar, but the free meal theory only applies on weekends or short staffed days. When I find someone to help me, I *always* offer to pay, but they unfortunately never can find the login card to the card reader, or they don't want to be bothered with it, so they cut their losses and are nice to me :) Bonus! I haven't tried lunch yet, but I'll make sure to figure that one out some day. Lately its been the Food Court for me, which is never free. And that's about it guys, hope everyone is well.
