I've almost totally gotten over the arm surgery. I have to wear a splint when I go outside, but otherwise, I'm free. Lately, I've been doing programming on some scripts I've written for the xm pcr (the pc receiver for xm radio) and am now in the process of doing technical support on it. Doing that is the worst, you get the same questions over and over and over again. That and people are clammoring to get the scripts even though I'm really not ready to release them, so I'm releasing stuff with help files that aren't too complete. That's probably the problem :). I've got a bit more work to do on it, mostly to make it cool.
Some stupid person convinced me to play Planetarion again. It's free this round and lots of people are convincing other people who left earlier in the game to play again. I'm kind of well known in the planetarion world for being blind and playing the game. Playing the game is not a hugely difficult thing, it's more irc communications getting defense for myself etc. They just can't imagine that I can use internet explorer and play this game. It's a cool community kind of like live journal. Lots and lots of fun interaction, and a prevalence of nerds. It's a space game, pretty math based. mathgoddess would love it.
Not much is new over here at the house. Gabby the cat continues to be annoying and she meows all the time, especiallly when I'm typing. Fiona's doing fine, Mini's annoying as usual. And as it should be, family last, dogs and cats first, they're doing great as well. They're considering buying a new car (my mom is), and dad's continuing to be dad. Me and my mom are leaving for alaska a week from today, and that's going to be cool. I can't wait to see my brother and neices, and it'll be cool to go fishing there.
Well, not much else is going on except for the world continues to be crazy and unruly, and our president ... well I won't go on except for a couple of weeks ago, I found out that both my dad and my sister (my sister I'm not surprised) support bush. Someone gag me with a spoon.
